Compatibility depends on the operating system and the driver exposed to Windows. ScanBridge asks TWAIN and WIA rather than talking directly to scanner hardware.
Windows 10 and 11
x86 and x64 are supported. Windows 10 requires .NET Framework 4.8.
Chrome, Edge and Firefox tested
The browser and local helper must run on the same Windows workstation.
TWAIN or WIA driver required
A device that exposes neither interface is invisible to ScanBridge.

These boundaries should be part of the evaluation, not discovered after purchase.
Windows only
There is currently no macOS, Linux or mobile helper. Internet Explorer is not supported.
RDP and Citrix are not certified
Multi-user terminal server deployments are not a supported configuration. Test the exact environment during trial and contact us before purchase.
The driver defines available controls
Paper source, duplex, resolution and other capabilities appear only when the connected driver reports them.
Installed per Windows user
The 1.5 MB MSI installs into the current user profile without requiring administrator rights from the installer itself.
Use the device you plan to deploy.
A public feature list cannot replace a scan with the real driver, browser and workstation. The trial unlocks every feature for that test.
